Rođen je 15.02.1970. od oca Mehdije i majke Nurije u selu Orlje kod Tutina, gdje je i odrastao sa roditeljima i dva mlađa brata. Bio je oženjen i otac osmoro djece.
Osnovnu školu završio u svom rodnom mjestu, a Medresu „Gazi Husrev-beg“ u Sarajevu. Jednogodišnji vojni rok odslužio u Gospiću i na Svetom Roku u Hrvatskoj. Studije filozofije šeriatskog prava (Usuli fikh) okončao na Islamskom univerzitetu „El-Emir Abdel-Kadir“ u Konstantini (Alžir), zvanje magistra stekao iz oblasti egzegeze Kur'ana (Tefsir) na Univerzitetu „El-Džinan“ u Tripoliju (Libanon), a doktorirao na Internacionalnom univerzitetu u Novom Pazaru na temu „Akademija – nastanak, razvoj i značaj sa posebnim osvrtom na Bošnjačku akademiju nauka i umjetnosti“.
Tečno je govorio, pisao i čitao na arapskom jeziku, govorio turski jezik, a služio se engleskim jezikom.
Bio je dugogodišnji predavač u Medresi „Gazi Isa-beg“ u Novom Pazaru, višegodišnji predavač grupe vjerskih predmeta i arapskog jezika na Islamskoj pedagoškoj akademiji (danas Fakultet za islamske studije). Bio je predsjednik Mešihata Islamske zajednice Sandžaka od njegovog osnivanja i muftija sandžački od 1993. do 2007., glavni muftija i predsjednik Mešihata IZ-e u Srbiji od njenog objedinjenja 2007. do 2014. od kada je bio muftija sandžački.
Bio je dekan Islamske pedagoške akademije 2001., rektor Internacionalnog univerziteta u Novom Pazaru od njegovog osnivanja 2002. do 2008. od kada je bio predsjednik Univerziteta.
Osmislio je i predvodio osnivanje i organizaciju Internacionalnog univerziteta u Novom Pazaru 2002. sa odjeljenjima u Nišu, Beogradu, Pančevu i Subotici, isturenog odjeljenja Alaudin medrese iz Prištine u Novom Pazaru u samostalnu Medresu „Gazi Isa-beg“ 1994., osnivanje Ženske medrese „Gazi Isa-beg“ u Novom Pazaru 1996. i njenih odjeljenja u Rožajama 2002. i Preševu 2014., islamskog magazina „Glas islama“ 1996. čiji je prvi glavni i odgovorni urednik, mreže dječjih vrtića i predškolskih ustanova „Reuda“ i školskog mekteba „Wildan“ 1998., Islamske pedagoške akademije (sadašnji FIS) 2001.
Inicirao je osnivanje Muslimanskog omladinskog kluba (MOK) 1999., Udruženja žena „Merjem“ 2007., Udruženja uleme Islamske zajednice u Srbiji 2007., Zajednice sandžačke dijaspore 2003., Škole Kur'ana Časnog u Novom Pazaru 2010., Islamskog kulturnog centra „Altun alem“ 2011., Vakufske direkcije 2014.
Osmislio i podržao osnivanje Internacionalne humanitarne organizacije (IHO) 1995. koja je kasnije prerasla u Centar za humanitarni rad „Hajrat“, otvaranje sedam vakufskih kuhinja za siromašne u svim gradovima Sjevernog Sandžaka.
Osmislio je i inicirao osnivanje Izdavačke kuće „El-Kelimeh“ 1993., osnivanje Agencije za sertificiranje halal kvaliteta 2007., Media centra 2008., Instituta za izučavanje genocida i zločina 2011., Sandžačke biznis asocijacije (SABA) 2010., Bošnjačke kulturne zajednice 2009., Televizije „Universa“ 2008. koja kasnije prerasta u Sandžak televiziju, islamskog „Refref“ radija u Novom Pazaru 2009.
Održao više od 1000 predavanja iz islamske i tematike kolektivnih i individualnih ljudskih prava, dao više od 800 intervjua, imao bezbroj raznih medijskih nastupa, učestvovao na više stotina međunarodnih naučnih, kulturnih i političkih simpozija i konferencija.
Bio je nosilac pobjedničke liste Bošnjačke kulturne zajednice na izborima za Bošnjačko nacionalno vijeće 2010. i član BNV-a 2010-2014. Bio je kandidat je na predsjedničkim izborima u Srbiji 2012. sa najviše osvojenih glasova u Sandžaku, kao i kandidat na izborima za reisu-l-ulemu Islamske zajednice u BiH 2019.
Na parlamentarnim izborima 2016. izabran je za narodnog poslanika u Skupštini R. Srbije i imenovan za predsjednika Odbora za obrazovanje, nauku, tehnološki razvoj i informatičko društvo. U decembru naredne godine izabran je za predsjednika Stranke pravde i pomirenja. Na parlamentarnim izborima 2020. godine ponovo je izabran za narodnog poslanika u Republičkom parlamentu i potpredsjednika Skupštine R. Srbije.
Osnivač je Svjetskog bošnjačkog kongresa, Bošnjačke akademije nauka i umjetnosti i Bošnjačke nacionalne fondacije. Generalni je sekretar BANU od 2011. i predsjednik Skupštine SBK od 2012. Član je Izvršnog vijeća Islamske svjetske lige – Rabite.
Autor je četiri knjige: Izolacija kriminala – temelj opstanka zajednice, Drevna Bosna, Academia i Etika, te više desetina naučnih radova.
Preselio je na Ahiret 06.11.2021. godine u Novom Pazaru i ukopan je u haremu Altun alem džamije.

MUFTI ACADEMICIAN MUAMER EF. ZUKORLIĆ
Mufti Academician Muamer Eff. Zukorlić was born on February 15, 1970, to parents Mehdi and Nurija in the village of Orlje near Tutin, where he grew up with his parents and two younger brothers. He was married and the father of eight children.
He completed his primary education in his hometown and attended the “Gazi Husrev-beg” Madrasa in Sarajevo. He served a one-year military service in Gospić and on Sveti Rok in Croatia. He concluded his studies in philosophy of Sharia law (Usul al-fiqh) at the Islamic University “El-Emir Abdel-Kadir” in Constantine (Algeria). He obtained his master's degree in Quranic exegesis (Tafsir) from the University of “El-Djinnan” in Tripoli (Lebanon) and earned his doctorate from the International University in Novi
Pazar on the topic “Academia – Formation, Development, and Significance with a Special Emphasis on the Bosniak Academy of Sciences and Arts.”
He was fluent in speaking, writing, and reading Arabic, spoke Turkish, and was proficient in English.
He served as a longtime lecturer at the “Gazi Isa-beg” Madrasa in Novi Pazar and taught various religious subjects and Arabic language at the Islamic Pedagogical Academy (now the Faculty of Islamic Studies) for several years. He was appointed as the President of the Mešihat of the Islamic Community of Sandžak from its establishment and served as the mufti of Sandžak from 1993 to 2007. Later, he became the Chief Mufti and President of the Mešihat of the Islamic Community in Serbia from its consolidation in 2007 to 2014, after which he resumed his position as the mufti of Sandžak.
He served as the dean of the Islamic Pedagogical Academy in 2001 and as the rector of the International University in Novi Pazar from its establishment in 2002 until 2008, during which he was the president of the University.
He conceived and led the establishment and organization of several institutions, including the
International University in Novi Pazar in 2002 with departments in Niš, Belgrade, Pančevo, and Subotica. He initiated the transformation of the Alaudin Madrasa from Priština into an independent “Gazi Isa-beg” Madrasa in Novi Pazar in 1994, the establishment of the “Gazi Isa-beg” Women's Madrasa in Novi Pazar in 1996, with additional branches in Rožaje in 2002 and Preševo in 2014. He founded the Islamic
magazine “Glas Islam” in 1996, serving as its first editor-in-chief. He initiated the network of children's preschools “Reuda” and the school madrasa “Wildan” in 1998, the Islamic Pedagogical Academy (now the Faculty of Islamic Studies) in 2001.
He initiated the establishment of the Muslim Youth Club (MOK) in 1999, the Women's Association
“Merjem” in 2007, the Association of Scholars of the Islamic Community in Serbia in 2007, the Sandžak Diaspora Community in 2003, the School of Quranic Studies in Novi Pazar in 2010, the Islamic Cultural Center “Altun alem” in 2011, and the Waqf Directorate in 2014.
He devised and supported the establishment of the International Humanitarian Organization (IHO) in 1995, which later evolved into the Center for Humanitarian Work “Hajrat,” as well as the opening of seven waqf kitchens for the poor in all cities of the Northern Sandžak.
He conceived and initiated the establishment of the Publishing House “El-Kelimeh” in 1993, the
establishment of the Agency for Halal Quality Certification in 2007, the Media Center in 2008, the Institute for the Study of Genocide and Crimes in 2011, the Sandžak Business Association (SABA) in 2010, the Bosniak Cultural Community in 2009, and “Universa” Television in 2008, which later evolved into Sandžak Television, and the Islamic “Refref” Radio in Novi Pazar in 2009.
He delivered over 1,000 lectures on Islamic and collective and individual human rights issues, conducted more than 800 interviews, made countless media appearances, and participated in several hundred
international scientific, cultural, and political symposiums and conferences.
He led the winning list of the Bosniak Cultural Community in the elections for the Bosniak National Council in 2010 and was a member of the BNC from 2010 to 2014. He was a candidate in the presidential elections in Serbia in 2012, receiving the highest number of votes in Sandžak, as well as a candidate in
the elections for the reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019.
In the parliamentary elections in 2016, he was elected as a member of parliament in the Republic of Serbia Parliament and appointed as the President of the Committee for Education, Science,
Technological Development, and Information Society. In December of the following year, he was elected as the President of the Party of Justice and Reconciliation. In the parliamentary elections in 2020, he was re-elected as a member of parliament in the Republic Parliament and as the Vice President of the
Parliament of the Republic of Serbia.
He was the founder of the World Bosniak Congress, the Bosniak Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the Bosniak National Foundation. He served as the General Secretary of BANU since 2011 and as the President of the SBK Assembly since 2012. He was a member of the Executive Council of the Islamic World League – Rabita.
He authored four books: “Isolation of Crime – the Foundation of Community Survival,” “Ancient Bosnia,” “Academia and Ethics,” and numerous scientific papers.
He passed away on November 6, 2021, in Novi Pazar, and was buried in the courtyard of the Altun alem Mosque.
